A vanpool is a group of five to 15 commuters who regularly travel together to work in a comfortable van, minivan, or SUV, at least three days per week. Typically, vanpool passengers pay a monthly lease fare, while drivers ride at a discounted rate in exchange for driving and maintaining the van.
